BAUW Community Impact Collaborative
Working together to address the issues of teen alcohol and drug abuse in the Barrington communities, Barrington Area United Way has been an active partner in the Barrington Area Drug Prevention Coalition (BADPC) since its inception in 2004. The work of the BADPC is critical to the well-being of our community. The Barrington Area Drug Prevention Coalition is made up of volunteers from our schools, local governments, law enforcement, local hospital, health and human service agencies, community organizations and concerned residents. The mission of CDPC is to "reduce the use of alcohol, tobacco, and other drug abuse in our community trough education, prevention, and intervention strategies and encourage healthy alternatives."
